Depending on the Application and how you use it, we may process the following personal data:

Information you provide to us

- Name

- Email address

- Information provided when contacting customer support

- Other information you voluntarily provide

The Applications do not currently require you to create an account or password.

Technical and usage information

Analytical and usage information is collected only if you have consented to analytical data collection.

When you first use an Application, you can choose between Essentials, which allows only essential data processing, and Analytical, which also allows analytical data collection.

If you select Essentials, analytical data is not collected through analytics technologies.

If you select Analytical, we and our analytics provider may process information such as:

- IP address

- Device type and model

- Operating system and version

- Application version

- Device and installation identifiers

- Language and regional settings

- Information about how and when you use the Application

- Features, screens and interactions

- Crash, error and diagnostic information

- Performance and other technical information

The specific information processed may differ between Applications.

You may withdraw your consent to analytical data collection through the applicable consent-management mechanism in the Application or by contacting us at hi@thefoolabs.com.

Subscription and purchase information

If you purchase a subscription through the App Store, we may process information necessary to provide and manage your subscription and access to paid features. This may include subscription status, subscription type and duration, purchase and renewal information, entitlement information and transaction identifiers.

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details through the Applications.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat's SDK is integrated into the Applications and processes subscription-related information in connection with purchases and subscriptions made through the App Store.

We may process your personal data to:

- Provide, operate and maintain the Applications

- Provide features and functionality

- Provide and manage subscriptions and paid features

- Process and manage purchases, subscriptions and entitlements

- Respond to customer support requests

- Maintain the security and integrity of the Applications

- Prevent fraud, misuse and unauthorized activity

- Identify and resolve technical problems

- Improve the Applications where analytical data collection is enabled

- Comply with legal obligations

- Establish, exercise or defend legal claims

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing may include:

- Performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the Applications, features or subscriptions requested by you

- Legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, service improvement and legal claims

- Legal obligations, where processing is required by law

- Consent, including for analytical data collection where you select Analytical

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We use the following third-party services:

PostHog – analytics and product improvement. PostHog processes analytical information only where you have selected Analytical. Depending on the Application, this may include usage events, interactions, technical information and diagnostic information.

RevenueCat – subscription management and entitlements. RevenueCat's SDK is integrated into the Applications and helps process purchases, synchronize purchase information and determine subscription and entitlement status. RevenueCat may process purchase history, transaction information, subscription status and identifiers associated with the Application or subscription.

The specific information processed by these providers may depend on the configuration of the relevant Application.

We may also disclose personal data to service providers where necessary to provide the Applications or customer support, professional advisers, courts, regulators and governmental authorities where required or permitted by law, and parties involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring or similar transaction.

We do not sell your personal data and do not use third-party advertising networks to serve targeted advertising within the Applications.

Use of the App Store is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy practices.

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Applications, manage subscriptions, provide support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Where appropriate, we delete or anonymize personal data when it is no longer necessary, unless we are required or permitted by law to retain it for longer.

The Applications are not specifically directed to children. The fact that an Application may be accessible to or used by a minor does not mean that it is intended primarily for children or is part of Apple's Kids category.

We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from children in a manner prohibited by applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal data to us in circumstances where such processing is not permitted, please contact us at hi@thefoolabs.com.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Where applicable law provides these rights, you may have the right to:

- Access your personal data

- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data

- Request deletion of your personal data

- Request restriction of processing

- Object to certain processing

- Request data portability

- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

- Lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Applications, our processing activities or applicable legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain your consent to material changes.
